Xiaomi CleanFly FVQ: Revolutionizing Home Cleaning or Just Another Gadget?

★★★★★ I actually was in the market for a new vacuum as there were parts breaking on my Bissell 2999. (Dust buildup inside the motor housing leading to bearing whine, brush roller wear that required modification to prevent additional damage, as well as handle damage that prevented the vacuum handle from staying locked in place and later being unable to be removed as it got jammed slightly at an angle.)Moving on, this is actually a step up, despite having got it at a substantially lower price (99 dollars verse the original Bissell 2999 price being around 200 dollars.) I wanted something that people praised for higher reliability, and this advertised a limited 5 year warranty. I got it, because 99 for a well reviewed vacuum was excellent in idea. I then looked at reviews all over the internet only to find out more and more that the Shark NV360 was way better than expected.My only caveats to date are that it has a smaller agitator head, and that it doesn't come with a agitator attachment, you'd need to get the Pro version NV356E to get the agitator attachment. It does come with a smaller crevasse tool and a very functional upholstery tool that also worked very very well on the stairs.Suction on this vacuum is amazing. Especially compared to my Bissell 2999. I have Hoover and Bissell Vacuums, and the 2999 was better than my previous vacuums, but oddly not better than this current one from Shark, the NV360 just to keep things clear. The hose diameter is larger, and that typically means less pressure for most vacuums, however, that is not the case here. You really need to be careful when using the attachments as it will suck up a sock you may have got too close too and it'll all be too fast to recover from anywhere other than the dust bin.Emptying the dustbin is more involved than my Bissell and Hoover vacuums, where a single button press allows you to pull the bin from its' resting place. In the case of the Shark, you will need to undo two latches that secure the bin in place, but while I thought this would be a bigger problem it has not been. Installing the bin has been a bigger issue than removing it but the process is still really simple. The dual latch does offer the better seal though as it allows for more uniform pressure on the seal under neath and keeps the dust flowing down. It does seem that the foam prefilter would need more cleans than my Bissell 2999 required, but I found that dust released from the Bissell system would agitate my nose a touch, because allergies, while I have had zero incidents of that with the shark. (The Bissell 2999 was still the best I had before I got this NV360 for allergies I experienced, I just thought it was because it was kicking something up but dust patterns formed later in its' life showing it was some dust leakage.)Moving this around is easier than the Bissell 2999 as well, but that is partially because the base is smaller. Both were swivel style vacuums but the NV360 does better on tighter turns than the Bissell. The smaller head seems to also focus more of the dust into the dust bin. Going over areas the Bissell seamed done with, I found that there was still a ton of dirt and dust embedded into the carpet even after 8 passes with the Bissell. I only knew there was more because even though I wasn't getting anything more on the 8th pass with the Bissell, going over the same area with the NV360 showed there was still a lot of dust left in the carpet. The Bissell did get all the dog hair though and there was only dust and dirt that the shark was able to extract. (This also lead me to do a carpet clean though, as I have a Bissel carpet cleaner that I really like and I finished the job with that.)My lesson learned though is that even with a great vacuum like the Shark or my previous best Bissell, you may have to vacuum more often than every 3-4 days as that dirt just keeps getting deeper if you dont.Moving on, I am actually very impressed and absolutely can recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs something better. I absolutely can recommend it to anyone who has allergies like me as well. Best vacuum to date. Side note though, when researching vacuums, I did find that the Shark Stratos and Rotator options are more amazing when it comes to airflow and pressure as well as large objects and long hair, but they are between 200 and 300 dollars. For me this is the best option for now, especially seeing it was only 99 dollars when I got it.

I could not believe the amount of dog hair and dust it pulled from the carpets and rugs- and I am very diligent about vacuuming and sweeping. I emptied the canister after every room. It looks like my carpets have been cleaned! Suction is strong and the weight is light and easy to manage. Lift away feature is so helpful- especially when using the attachment to reach small spaces or use the attachment for couch cushions.

★★★★☆ My Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum #5770 was finally giving up as I purchased in 2009, and it was a workhorse. Yes, a bit heavy, but always did a great job of cleaning my carpets, great suction, and well built. Therefore, I knew that I would not be as equally happy with any vacuums available today and kept that in mind when looking for a replacement. I looked at all the reviews for vacuums that caught my eye and settled upon this Shark. So far it's good. It does vacuum well and the lightness is appreciated as it is easier to maneuver. My Bissell had a wide-path roller and lights. After using the Shark, I really don't miss the lights but do miss the wide path roller. Electrical cord is not as long and had to add an extension of 6 feet for comfortable vacuuming. My Bissell has better suction, but vacuums are very different now and that is as they say, "is that." (When perusing vacuums in the stores, they all look like toys.) Once received, it was very easy to put together as instructions were on the box lid. I had it working right away and it is quieter than my Bissell which is also appreciated. I was able to use a coupon that was available and some card credits to bring down cost low as possible.

★★★★★ The media could not be loaded. I am an organic gardener in a hostile land roamed by plant devouring bugs and pests. The nemesis of every gardener here, organic or not, is the stink bug. Conventional farmers spray their crops half to death fighting this enemy while organic farmers and gardeners get creative. I purchased the Black & Decker CHV1410L 16 volt Lithium Cordless Dust Buster Hand Vac as part of my 2 part stink bug eradication strategy. So far, it works great! Early in the squash season (summer squash and zucchini are the stink bug’s favorite prey) I lift stink bug eggs from the leaves of my plants with duct tape. Inevitably however, stink bug babies emerge from the egg clusters I miss and begin killing my plants. (Rabbits could learn about rapid reproduction from the stink bug.) In defense of my helpless plants this year, I started vacuuming stink bugs from my plants every day and flushing them down the toilet. I pull hundreds of the horrible death creatures from my garden every day thanks to my Dust Buster!WHAT IS IN THE BOX: One hand held cordless Dust Buster vacuum and charging base. The vacuum operates on a lithium battery which is included.WHAT I LIKE: The battery on this hand held vacuum lasts longer than I do. I almost always give out before I burn through the battery.I can suck up lots of stink bugs before I have to empty the vacuum.Emptying the vacuum chamber is simple. The “quick” empty normally allows me to get rid of all the bugs, but when I have a stubborn batch, I can get at them from the filter side of the chamber as well.The reusable filter washes up easily under running water.I love not having to worry about a cord!!! An organic farmer friend told me he uses a shop vac to eradicate his stink bug population, but I don’t have an outlet anywhere near my garden.I love being able to leave the vacuum on the charger at all times without destroying the battery. The best part for me is that it picks up cat litter and cat fur. It picks up everything in the kitchen and utility room and bathroom as well. ★★★★☆ I went into this purchase. Not expecting this vacuum to be a strong as my corded vacuum, but I live in an old house with narrow staircases and it's a pain to haul a vacuum up and down stairs, so I mostly just leave this one upstairs. With that in mind, it's a pretty nice little vacuum. I would not want it to be my primary vacuum, but it works well as a backup. The battery length is pretty good, and it does have reasonably powerful suction. Although again, not as good as my regular corded vacuum. It does does best on flat surfaces and struggles with anything textured like entryway mats etc. I have multiple cats and so I mostly am vacuuming for litter and cat hair and it does pretty well at getting both of those things. The roller brush does get jammed fairly easily and it's mildly a pain to clean, there's not an easy way to snap it off, so in terms of design, I wish they had designed it to easily open for cleaning since periodically it loses suction power and needs to be cleaned before it'll work well again. But overall, it is really nice as a backup and I've been fairly impressed with it for a cordless vacuum.

★★★★☆ Bought this to replace a more expensive Hoover that wasn't very old but the bottom plate broke and wasn't replaceable. I wasn't going to spend much this time and got this Eureka. It works okay but you can tell it's an economy model. It doesn't have a light which comes in handy but isn't a deal killer, but the cord is too short and we had to add a six foot extension cord. Also the cord hooks are fixed unlike the Hoover where the top hook swiveled to allow the cord to drop, so on this you have to unwind the whole thing which is annoying. That would have been a cheap feature to include. The overall feel is rather cheap and plasticky which I guess to to be expected for the price. Although it's not very heavy it has more resistance when pushing, whereas the Hoover felt like it was being pulled. It does the job so I'm not complaining and hopefully it will hold up. Good for a low cost option.

★★★★★ Omg 🤩 I cannot rave enough about this vacuum! Yes - it is only a glorified hand held - but man is it mighty!! Serious suction and less than $30! Not to mention it’s super lightweight- making cleaning with it a breeze. Good bye dog hair!I do have 2 minor complaints:1: The cord is short - 15 feet really isn’t that long - it can only reach 1/2 my livingroom per plug2: Seeing as it is only a glorified hand held- the debris collector is small.With that being said It does work well on carpet - omg it pulled so much dirt out!!! However I won’t go as far as to say that it would replace a standard vacuum for carpet. But if you’re on a budget, or need a lightweight option, or if you have hardwood floors then this vacuum is for you!!

★★★★★ Why did you pick this product vs others?:Honesty love this little stick vacuum. This is my second one an the only reason I got rid of my first one was because we were moving overseas and didn't want to pack it into our carry-on luggage. Keep in mind this is just a simple stick vacuum, but I had my previous one for almost 10 years and it was great for light vacuuming in the kitchen, especially because I have dogs that shed A LOT. It's lightweight and doesn't take up much space. The only way it would be better is if it was cordless but, for me, it's not a deal breaker. Easy to empty out and although I kept the same filter throughout the time I had it there are filters that you can buy that i've seen on amazon if you want to replace it (I can't speak for those I just have SEEN them). Another amazing feature is the cost, pretty cheap for something that'll last awhile and get the job done.

I’m NEVER GOING BACK! Oh, and when you go to dump your debris, you can easily see your filter to check it to make sure that it’s clean. You don’t have to go looking for it at all. This vacuum has no problem keeping up with my needs. I use it everywhere, everyday. On linoleum, hard wood and carpet. The lift away feature allows for easy cleaning in high places. The wand detaches as well. It allows me to get into all the nooks and crannies of my home. Its light weight. Very easy to clean. Its the only vacuum I will ever buy. The replacement filters are not expensive either.

(Don't see any dust bunnies on your wood floors? Turn off the room light and you will be shocked at what the vacuum light reveals.) Suction is excellent - couldn't believe what it retrieved from carpet that had already been vacuumed with a different vacuum. "Traditional" size/weight and wrap cord, but it feels like a fair exchange given the quality of the function at this price.

★★★★★ I very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write.At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind.Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place.But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.

★★★★★ I have been looking for about a year for another vacuum cleaner. I have a very nice Hoover Windtunnel upright and it does a great job, but I bought it when I had carpeting throughout the house. Since hardwood floors arrived and I only have one bedroom with carpet (keeps the noise down) it is not as enjoyable to vacuum the entire house with a larger and heavier vacuum.So my search finally decided on the Eureka NEN110A Whirlwind Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner and I am glad I did. It arrived yesterday after ordering it only Friday, thanks Amazon. Needless to say, I had to take it for a spin. Here is what I can report for the newly arrived.1. It is pretty. Yes, pretty; I don't like ugly appliances. All the bells and whistles are great, but if the unit is ugly, then I don't want it. You know what I am talking about, you seen other vacuum cleaners that look like they jumped out of a 1950 sci-fi movie. Hello, the commercial vacuum that is short, round and has eye's painted on it, or the Shark Apex or the Shark DuoClean Powered Lift Away Speed Vacuum that looks like a tower that could easily fall over, or almost all Oreck. Oh yes, I know this may step on a toe or toe, but sometimes the truth is ugly and hey, this is my review.But this unit is good looking, racey, futuristic even, and I love the color blue they made it in.2. Power - plenty of suction power. As a matter of fact I had to adjust back the vacuum power using the handy built in suction adjustment on the hand. No problem with suction power.3. Ease of use - this is were it really shines. It is around 8 pounds so it is quick and easy to maneuver all over the house. Easy to get down under furniture as the head swivels around, turning and twisting your floors clean. The dust cup is small, but so is the vacuum cleaner, but it is easy to pop out and dump, snap closed and your ready to go. I hate when people whine about having to empty the canister so often, seriously, why do you want to leave all that dirt in the vacuum for days. It even easily rolls over its own power cord. My Kenmore canister that weighed over 20 pounds couldn't even roll over its own cord, it would get stuck and I would have to lift it.4. The built into the wand brush and crevice tool worked really well also. The wand, the handles plug securely into each other and the vacuum with a nice little snap. Easy to undo also. The auto-rewind on the unit is great too, a nice feature at this price point. The power cord is 16 feet, but if it was possible to have another five feet would be awesome, but I am not complaining, I just unplug and move to another area and plug into a different outlet that is closer to the work area, after all our houses come with multiple outlets.5. Lifespan, this is always the unknown, but the unit has a one year manufacturer warranty and I purchased 3 more years under the Assurance plan. So I feel I am covered. Time will tell and I'll update these comments if something goes wrong and also if the unit keeps working just fine.

★★★★☆ Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve bought several of these small bagless floor vacs and I love the convenience of and many uses of the small design. My kenmore ones were older so seeing this Eureka, a great price and good suction reviews, it was time. I love the metal wand instead of plastic. The wand shortens to 20" and extends by one inch spaces and increments to 30". A nice wide range of personal adjustment. The retractable power cord is 16' I think, but longer would still be better. It pulls behind me easily with swivel wheels. The suction is STRONG. It sucks up the area rugs where I have to ease up suction by a slide button at top of wand so you can adjust that powerful suction. Better to have it than not!! It's lightweight and perfect for hauling up/down stairs or outside to vacuum car. It has a built in brush that really doesn't have a lot of efficiency in my opinion. Id rather have a separate one that I can use that is durable and well made. Easy to empty canister and super easy to detach from vac.and snap back in place. Love that. The floor tool simply pushes over the flooring and is hard plastic with 2 small rollers along the back of tool. That design keeps the tool flat on floor mostly and it’s why it suctions to the rugs ect. My older vac versions had 4 rollers so it glides better and didn't suction down, liked that better. ( Why 4 stars.) But, I really like this little vac and I think it'll be perfect for what I need. Worth the &68.00 bucks for sure. 

★★★★★ We recently moved into a new home with little kids, and I bought a pack of these to put around the house, while the kids got used to the new home. These are so amazing, I came back and ordered two more packs! We have them in the bathroom, hallways, kids' rooms, playroom, basement, etc. They provide just the right amount of light for such tiny little nightlights. They're off during the day, the light sensors work great, and I've never seen one flicker. They're compact enough that you can still use the other half of the outlet and really don't take up much space. It's great for the electricity bill too - I'd rather have a few nightlights on than leaving on a light on each level of the house at night!
