★★★★★ 2nd time buying this from this seller. First time was over a year ago when it was $50+ more than it is now. It was too expensive initially to purchase two sets for each side of my “gym room,” so I had one mirror leaning against the wall on either side for over a year. I pulled the trigger on a second set after seeing it was more than $50 cheaper. The original set I bought had white frames but the one on sale now had silver frames. It held up well even without being mounted and was very stable just leaning against the wall (i have matte finish floors so not as slippery). I finally mounted both sets to the wall after the second set arrived. Mounting was done by myself (short female with little to no experience with this type of chore). I had no leveler so I eyeballed it using 8x11 paper.Instructions I used1. Line up the bottle edge of the frame to the wall and use a pen to mark the holes to drill.2. I had an old electric hand drill, used a 1/4” brad point drill bit to make a hole to place the drywall anchors (used a rubber surface mallet to tap the anchors in).3. Hold the bottom frame to the wall and use a screwdriver bit to drill the screws in (DONT FORGET to put the gold cap holder(?) on the screws first)4. Place one of the mirrors on top of the bottom frame and temporarily place the top frame on top of it, and use a pen to mark the screw holes again.5. Remove both the mirror and top frame and repeat step 2 for the top frame6. Place the LEFT mirror on top of the bottom frame, line up the top frame and drill in the screws to the LEFT MOST wall anchor (with gold screw cap holder on ). Placing the screw on the left most location first is important so you can rotate the top frame gently to give room to place the RIGHT mirror while holding the left mirror in place.. this was very improbable for me because I was mounting these by myself.7. I used by bum to hold the left mirror in place and grabbed the right mirror and also placed it on top of the bottom frame.8. Put the top frame in position over both mirrors9. Screw down the remaining screws (with the gold screw cap holders on first!!)10. Place the screw caps.I am forgetful and completely forgot the screw cap holders (gold) so i removed all the screws (one at a time — so that I did not have to undo everything) after the full set up to place the holders on.First set of mirrors took about 30 min and 2nd set only took 10 minutes after I got the hang of it.A little bummed that I paid more for the first set, but if I were more optimistic, I should be happy about the discount on the 2nd set.

First of all the mirror was double boxed beautifully and the final box containing the mirrors insured a perfect clean no defect no scratches set if 4 mirrors~! Next I uses only Scotch double backed tape and non of the supplied stick patches. Draw a plumb level line less than 14 inches horizontally at top high enough to get your full head in the mirrors reflection. Place the one inch scotch double sized tape at the 4 corners not too close to the mirror edges and one in the very middle of the back side of each of the 4 mirror squares. I ended up having to use some gorilla glue double sided hanging tape to keep them from falling off the wall and most of the tiles give a funhouse mirror effect that isn’t so bad at a distance but becomes problematic the closer you get to them. I really wanted this product to work out but unfortunately I’ll be removing and replacing them with something else tomorrow.

They were fairly easy to remove from the packaging (carefully!), easy to apply, good quality for being an acrylic product, and the adhesive is sticky. When taking them out of their packaging, I would suggest breaking out the smaller stars first and then easing your way to the bigger ones (I found this easier for me to handle with care). I did crack 2 or 3 stars, but they still look great and you can’t notice the crack unless you’re up close. Someone had mentioned in another review to use masking tape to remove the peel from the star and that was super helpful. As for the adhesive, it has good hold even after peeling it off once or twice for readjustment or new placement. I have textured walls and I put the stars on the places where the wall was flat for better adherence. I would definitely buy this product again.

★★★★★ If you’re looking for something gorgeous and not cheap-looking, get these. I used probably 1/3-1/2 of all of the stars in the package to do my closet doors. It’s a tedious process especially because they are delicate and have the film covering. I’m glad I read the reviews first and knew to proceed with caution, and to use masking tape to help remove the film. I only had one or two breaks and they were on the teeny stars. They’ve stuck since installation months ago and don’t seem like they’re going to move without effort. I lightly wiped/cleaned the surface first with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry before putting them up. The mirrors aren’t fun-house; they’re actual reflective mirrored surfaces and add to the look. They reflect the light in the room onto the floor in a pretty way.I debated between these and a glitter set and I’m 1000% happy I went with these. The glitter would have likely looked cheap and childish. I plan to use the rest on another door just because it does come with so many. The different size stars are perfect for various spaces and for a more intentional look.
