I purchased the Black & Decker CHV1410L 16 volt Lithium Cordless Dust Buster Hand Vac as part of my 2 part stink bug eradication strategy. So far, it works great! Early in the squash season (summer squash and zucchini are the stink bug’s favorite prey) I lift stink bug eggs from the leaves of my plants with duct tape. Inevitably however, stink bug babies emerge from the egg clusters I miss and begin killing my plants. (Rabbits could learn about rapid reproduction from the stink bug.) In defense of my helpless plants this year, I started vacuuming stink bugs from my plants every day and flushing them down the toilet. I pull hundreds of the horrible death creatures from my garden every day thanks to my Dust Buster!WHAT IS IN THE BOX: One hand held cordless Dust Buster vacuum and charging base. The vacuum operates on a lithium battery which is included.WHAT I LIKE: The battery on this hand held vacuum lasts longer than I do. I almost always give out before I burn through the battery.I can suck up lots of stink bugs before I have to empty the vacuum.Emptying the vacuum chamber is simple. The “quick” empty normally allows me to get rid of all the bugs, but when I have a stubborn batch, I can get at them from the filter side of the chamber as well.The reusable filter washes up easily under running water.I love not having to worry about a cord!!! An organic farmer friend told me he uses a shop vac to eradicate his stink bug population, but I don’t have an outlet anywhere near my garden.I love being able to leave the vacuum on the charger at all times without destroying the battery. I always have full power available.WHAT I DON’T LIKE: I really wish this vacuum exerted strong enough pressure to kill the bugs as I sucked them into it. The best part for me is that it picks up cat litter and cat fur. It picks up everything in the kitchen and utility room and bathroom as well. ★★★★★ I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tested the Little Green on multiple types of stains on various fabrics/carpets, and it has not disappointed. So far, I've had 100% success cleaning up cat vomit, dog bile, and mud. These stains were cleaned off a wool throw rug, nylon/polyester blend carpet, and polyester upholstery, respectively. I used the provided Bissel Spot & Stain Febreeze solution and didn't find it to have an overwhelming scent.Pros:- It works which is the biggest thing for me! Plus, a couple of these stains, like the cat vomit one on the living room wool rug, had been there for months and nothing I tried would get it out.- The machine is relatively light to carry around and is compact to stow away when finished.- I liked that the electrical cord was very long which made it easy to use in rooms with only a few outlets.- Any animal lover will know that no matter how much vacuuming you do, there's always going to be some stray hairs left behind. I'm pleasantly surprised that the Little Green has yet to get clogged while I've been cleaning. I always wash the pieces after each use, but it seems like my Lab's hair could clog anything. But, not Little Green!Cons:- I wish I could remove the hose completely to clean it, but the parts that can be removed to clean are easy to do so.- When you load up the water-solution mixture into its tub and turn it upside down to install it into the machine, it does leak a little bit. Once it's in the machine, it doesn't continue leaking but it did catch me off guard the first time I used it thinking I did something wrong.- I wish the instructions told me how best to use each of the attachments. It tells you how to install them, but I had to search online for more guidance on appropriate usage.Overall, the cons are very small things compared to the pros. Especially if you have animals (or children), I would highly recommend this little guy. I've been telling family and friends about it ever since I got mine!

★★★★★ This is a great little machine. It's got a long cord and a decent (perfect, maybe) length hose, so I can get at parts of the house which might otherwise be difficult. It's easy to use, doesn't take up too much space, and pulls a ton of grime from the carpets.I initially got it for dealing with a cat pee situation (which has mostly been solved at the cat level, until today). If you're using it for cat pee, I recommend first using it on the cat pee without using the sprayer at all, and then doing another quick pass with the detergent/sprayer. Knowing what I know now, though, I'd buy this even without the cat pee situation for use on the high-traffic area by the front door.

I also like that Bissell helps support homeless pets.I have an upright room carpet shampooer for general carpet cleaning, but it is heavy, more difficult to empty, and doesn't do as good a job on heavy spots and stains as the Little Green does. After getting up any solids and excess with paper towels, this lets you scrub the problem area as needed and control how much solution you use on it with the hand held tool. Then use several extra passes to suction it almost dry. Much more convenient and easier to use on small areas than a big shampooer, unless you want to do a whole room or large area of course. It's also good for cleaning upholstery. While advertised for pets, it's just as helpful for kids' accidents as well as for spills and such on carpet or upholstery.The suction slot is across the very front edge of the attachment, so you can spray, scrub with the bristles, and/or suction separately or at the same time, depending on the angle you hold it and whether you press the spray trigger. This thing is simple to use and wonderful!The tanks are easy to remove. it's very easy to fill using the solution and water lines printed on the tank and to empty the dirty water tank into a toilet and rinse it out. Also rinse off the rubber gasket on the bottom of the dirty water tank. It even has an attachment to easily clean its own hose and internal parts. The scrubbing attachment swished clean in water. It also includes a spray crevice tool but I haven't used that one.A small bottle of the special cleaning solution for portable machines is included. The oxy formula came with mine instead of the kind shown. I also ordered a larger bottle of the pro oxy solution at the same time to have on hand. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to attach a bracket with one included screw; not sure why that isn't done at the factory. I had to use a little pressure to screw it in but no big deal. There is one little hose clip that easily snaps on. (The machine would still work the same without those, but they help store the hose neatly.) Also the tube (like a little drinking straw) had fallen inside the clean water tank but I just slipped it back on once I figured out where it attached to part of the cap. It does need that piece to work, so check that it's attached.There is a newer boxy model that is black that was on sale for the same $99 price and also gets good reviews, but I had already ordered this green one, which is actually cuter, LOL. I wish I had bought this years ago. It's a very useful portable cleaner especially if you have kids, pets, or are clumsy.

I purchased it to keep all the sawdust from getting all over the house (I don't have a workshop or room- just a work corner). My little house vacuum hose barely sucks anything up. However, I seriously don't have the space for a large shop vac so the compact size of this is so great yet it performs as strongly as the large sizes. I was expecting less but got more!My two little dogs who are terrified of my house vacuum actually don't even pay this one any mind at all. One typically runs and hides while the other follows me around barking madly at it--but with this little shop vac they even kept coming up to it while I'm using it with no barking.The machine is also quite stable sitting low on the floor so it doesn't tip over. The hose has a good length to it and it comes with several different head attachments that work great! I can also attach my straight hose extensions from my upright vac to this.UPDATE: OMG not long after I posted this I was spring cleaning - using a hose from my apartment to wash down the patio when I heard something running behind me. Turn around and the whole dining room area is flooded from a leak in the hose!!! So I promptly turned off the water, changed the filter from the cloth to the water filter in this little vac and proceeded to test its wet suction! SUPER HAPPY! It worked like a dream. From a huge spreading puddle to dry floors in minutes! Highly recommend.I haven't tried the wet part yet or the "blow" part either but if the suction works this well, then I'm sure I'll have no worries.

The hose is a good length as well and it comes with extension attachments too. Overall I’m glad I went with this instead of the handheld battery ones. I read the q&a and realized that you have to use a lower powered cord and that got the charging light to come on, so I thought all was well.Then, an hour later, I came back and the charging light was off. The lights would no longer come on and the power button didn't work. It was aggravating and I started a return through Amazon. I unplugged it and the lights came on! It is fully charged.Apparently, you can not operate it in anyway if it is plugged in to charge. Just wanted to share as an FYI. Truthfully it looks so much better in the evening when lit than it does during the day cos the branches are covered with a shiny metallic material and that combined with the plastic white base doesn't exactly look high end; however, easy fix to cover the plastic base by draping some fake greenery or even a woven fabric of some kind. I love that there are different colors to choose from for the wood and the middle mason jar 🙂 So you can really make this fit the color theme of your house. It's pretty lightweight as well, with the wood being very lightweight and the mason jars, (as they are real glass), adding the most weight. The lights are one string of lights, but it's very long so you're able to stretch it into each of the three mason jars. The lights take three AA batteries which are not included. There is a an on, off, and timer setting for the lights, and I really am liking the timer setting 🙂 The flowers are faux flowers yet so beautiful! I've gotten several compliments on them and each bouquet is its own separate bouquet (3 mini bouquets in total) so you can put each one in one of the mason jars. ★★★★★ This is the BEST light but powerful vacuum! I've had it for 3 weeks, and I use it all the time. It's so light that it's amazing how much it picks up. The best part for me is that it picks up cat litter and cat fur. It picks up everything in the kitchen and utility room and bathroom as well. It doesn't need much room to store, and it's so easy to pick up and use! Definitely worth getting because I use it constantly. My two other vacuums are collecting dust. This one is the BEST!

★★★★★ I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tested the Little Green on multiple types of stains on various fabrics/carpets, and it has not disappointed. So far, I've had 100% success cleaning up cat vomit, dog bile, and mud. These stains were cleaned off a wool throw rug, nylon/polyester blend carpet, and polyester upholstery, respectively. I used the provided Bissel Spot & Stain Febreeze solution and didn't find it to have an overwhelming scent.Pros:- It works which is the biggest thing for me! Plus, a couple of these stains, like the cat vomit one on the living room wool rug, had been there for months and nothing I tried would get it out.- The machine is relatively light to carry around and is compact to stow away when finished.- I liked that the electrical cord was very long which made it easy to use in rooms with only a few outlets.- Any animal lover will know that no matter how much vacuuming you do, there's always going to be some stray hairs left behind. I'm pleasantly surprised that the Little Green has yet to get clogged while I've been cleaning. I always wash the pieces after each use, but it seems like my Lab's hair could clog anything. But, not Little Green!Cons:- I wish I could remove the hose completely to clean it, but the parts that can be removed to clean are easy to do so.- When you load up the water-solution mixture into its tub and turn it upside down to install it into the machine, it does leak a little bit. Once it's in the machine, it doesn't continue leaking but it did catch me off guard the first time I used it thinking I did something wrong.- I wish the instructions told me how best to use each of the attachments. It tells you how to install them, but I had to search online for more guidance on appropriate usage.Overall, the cons are very small things compared to the pros. Especially if you have animals (or children), I would highly recommend this little guy. I've been telling family and friends about it ever since I got mine!

★★★★★ This is a great little machine. It's got a long cord and a decent (perfect, maybe) length hose, so I can get at parts of the house which might otherwise be difficult. It's easy to use, doesn't take up too much space, and pulls a ton of grime from the carpets.I initially got it for dealing with a cat pee situation (which has mostly been solved at the cat level, until today). If you're using it for cat pee, I recommend first using it on the cat pee without using the sprayer at all, and then doing another quick pass with the detergent/sprayer. Knowing what I know now, though, I'd buy this even without the cat pee situation for use on the high-traffic area by the front door.

I also like that Bissell helps support homeless pets.I have an upright room carpet shampooer for general carpet cleaning, but it is heavy, more difficult to empty, and doesn't do as good a job on heavy spots and stains as the Little Green does. After getting up any solids and excess with paper towels, this lets you scrub the problem area as needed and control how much solution you use on it with the hand held tool. Then use several extra passes to suction it almost dry. Much more convenient and easier to use on small areas than a big shampooer, unless you want to do a whole room or large area of course. It's also good for cleaning upholstery. While advertised for pets, it's just as helpful for kids' accidents as well as for spills and such on carpet or upholstery.The suction slot is across the very front edge of the attachment, so you can spray, scrub with the bristles, and/or suction separately or at the same time, depending on the angle you hold it and whether you press the spray trigger. This thing is simple to use and wonderful!The tanks are easy to remove. it's very easy to fill using the solution and water lines printed on the tank and to empty the dirty water tank into a toilet and rinse it out. Also rinse off the rubber gasket on the bottom of the dirty water tank. It even has an attachment to easily clean its own hose and internal parts. The scrubbing attachment swished clean in water. It also includes a spray crevice tool but I haven't used that one.A small bottle of the special cleaning solution for portable machines is included. The oxy formula came with mine instead of the kind shown. I also ordered a larger bottle of the pro oxy solution at the same time to have on hand. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to attach a bracket with one included screw; not sure why that isn't done at the factory. I had to use a little pressure to screw it in but no big deal. There is one little hose clip that easily snaps on. (The machine would still work the same without those, but they help store the hose neatly.) Also the tube (like a little drinking straw) had fallen inside the clean water tank but I just slipped it back on once I figured out where it attached to part of the cap. It does need that piece to work, so check that it's attached.There is a newer boxy model that is black that was on sale for the same $99 price and also gets good reviews, but I had already ordered this green one, which is actually cuter, LOL. I wish I had bought this years ago. It's a very useful portable cleaner especially if you have kids, pets, or are clumsy.

★★★★★ Holy Cow! What a little suction machine! This little sucker is powerful! I purchased it to keep all the sawdust from getting all over the house (I don't have a workshop or room- just a work corner). My little house vacuum hose barely sucks anything up. However, I seriously don't have the space for a large shop vac so the compact size of this is so great yet it performs as strongly as the large sizes. I was expecting less but got more!My two little dogs who are terrified of my house vacuum actually don't even pay this one any mind at all. One typically runs and hides while the other follows me around barking madly at it--but with this little shop vac they even kept coming up to it while I'm using it with no barking.The machine is also quite stable sitting low on the floor so it doesn't tip over. The hose has a good length to it and it comes with several different head attachments that work great! I can also attach my straight hose extensions from my upright vac to this.UPDATE: OMG not long after I posted this I was spring cleaning - using a hose from my apartment to wash down the patio when I heard something running behind me. Turn around and the whole dining room area is flooded from a leak in the hose!!! So I promptly turned off the water, changed the filter from the cloth to the water filter in this little vac and proceeded to test its wet suction! SUPER HAPPY! It worked like a dream. From a huge spreading puddle to dry floors in minutes! Highly recommend.I haven't tried the wet part yet or the "blow" part either but if the suction works this well, then I'm sure I'll have no worries.

★★★★★ Best vacuum for the price. It’s compact yet powerful enough to properly vacuum my automobiles, however, I wish it had a bit more suction power and longer hose like at the car wash. I selected this model due to variety of attachments to get in those hard to reach places. It measures about 10”W x 14”L x 16”H with the 4 wheel platform.

★★★★★ Amazing!!! Strong suction! I was going to buy a handheld one for the same price but glad I went with this one. If you don’t mind having to connect it and are looking for a super easy to use vacuum for your car, this one is great! First thing I thought when it started picking everything up was, “Wow! Just like at the car wash” lol. The huge plus are the attachments. There is one for everything and they all came in handy my first use. Poor car 😆.The vacuum also has blowing capabilities and can pick up liquids as long as you use the provided filter, which is easy to install. That’s pretty awesome. The power cord is a good length as well which makes it even easier to use. As for the noise. I’d say it’s as loud or maybe a little louder than a household upright vacuum. The hose is a good length as well and it comes with extension attachments too. Overall I’m glad I went with this instead of the handheld battery ones. This one sucks everything up from all dust, debris, receipts, bottle caps, coins, small toys, anything that can fit in there AND they don’t get stuck because the suction is a good strength!- easy to use- strong suction- maneuverable- attachments for all needs- easy to clean
